I’m so pleased to share the photographs from this shoot with the lovely Stef from Chatelaine Interiors. We travelled to multiple locations for this shoot so got so much variety to really show off Stef and her business. Chatelaine Interiors are masters in making stunningly beautiful tailor-made curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, they are based in Newbury, Berkshire. Stef wanted some images for her website, some marketing materials and images for use on social media. We spent some time planning the shoot and had decided on 3 locations. We started at Stef’s home with some natural headshots and some shots including her gorgeous curtains in the background. Then we moved onto her workshop and took some of her in action on the sewing machine. Stef wanted some photographs for her business that she could use on social media and on a particular marketing brochure that she was having made up. We made sure to get some generic shots of her fabric and accessories that she could use as backgrounds for social media posts and in marketing with text overlaid.
We were then lucky enough to shoot in the Fermoie factory. Stef uses their gorgeous fabric for lots of her designs. They couldn’t have been nicer to us and let us have free reign in the showroom and I took some natural photographs of Tom and Stef chatting over the fabric too. How fabulous is their swatch wall? I’d love to have one of those at home!
Next we moved onto Stef’s client in a truly spectacular location. She lives right on the edge of Newbury Racecourse with an amazing view of the final straight. We again took some of the gorgeous curtain’s Stef had made and then some of Stef and her client going through some swatch books and discussing future projects.
I’m really enjoying shooting for all these clever designers! I love interior design so to be able to photograph such gorgeous locations is so exciting.
